As we all know, this 722.3 transmission starts in 2nd gear. When I accelerate slowly, it clunks into third, it is quite smooth into 4th.
When accelerating rapidly, 2nd to 3rd is smooth, 3rd to 4th smooth.
I'll double check that fluid level on both sides of the dip stick.
I was quoted C$1,695 to rebuild the transmission, with all upgrades and OEM parts, which will take about 5 days. Plus C$500 to drop, and reinstall the transmission. Is this reasonable? Here is what they do
