be sure to

check with a straight edge and a piece of paper. if it wont hold paper it is not flat. if it is not flat a new gasket will not hold long if at all.

i can see a turbo car might blow one out after a while since it is actually under some pressure and runs at a higher temp too, tending to want to warp things more often.
