With 26 year old seals and hoses it WON'T be as trouble free as a new Toyota, obviously. I wouldn't be comfortable driving it, worrying about what might happen to it. Maybe Mr. Ebayhustler should sell it to a museum.
In 1976 my father bought a brand new Porsche 930 turbo. Silver with a black interior. It cost $26,000 and change out the door from Ogner Porsche/Ferrari. Two months later he broke his leg and couldn't push the clutch. Two months after that he was tee boned by a drunk driver in the family Oldsmobile. His health went downhill fast and he died in 1982. His intention was to put a SB 327 in it

It has under 1,600 miles on it. The AC still holds a little pressure in the lines. The P-7 Pirelli tires cracked and stopped holding air sometime in the 90's. It has always been parked under a cover in a garage. The covers last around ten years. I have a New Years duty to put in a few gallons of fuel and fire it up once a year. Then I drain the fuel until next year. The brake fliud gets replaced now and then and the windshield/headlight washer fliud remains drained.

This next summer I plan to replace the tires, give it a thourough inspection, and drive my 96 year old mother up to Yosemite in it.
