I thought the left-wingers who criticized the interview are being short-sighted. As bizarre as his views may be, Santorum speaks for a LOT of people in this country. We need to listen.
This is one reason I think Stewart is a major, major player. The guy can walk the tight wire with all kind of guests and everyone is happy, usually. I saw the Santorum spot and it was interesting. People seem to love Stewart, left and right.

Bill O was on t'other night and he wasn't as mellow as the previous time I saw him there -- doing some of his shouting, finger jabbing routine which is his strong (only) suit.

Did you catch Hannity and Colmes doing a joint appearance a year or two ago? It was a riot. Hannity was acting like a blushing groupie and the two of them sitting on the couch together was an odd sight.

Lemme see, I've seen Kissinger, Rep. Bonillo of Texas (horses arse), Richard Perle, Bob Dole, Karen Hughes, Colin Powell, jeez, I can't think of all the conservatives who have been on his show. You'd never see Limbaugh doing something like that. Never.
