Yeah, I heard they do good work. However, there are two other independent shops locally that also work on Mercedes only, so I am going to get an estimate from them as well.

Funny thing. I was talking to someone that has owned nothing but Mercedes for years and they said as long as there was no chain "noise", then there was no cause for concerns. I mentioned that it was the tensioners that often broke, but still seemed to stick to "no noise, no problem" suggestion.

I think for $400-$550, I should go ahead and have it changed since there is doubt of when/if it was last changed. I mean at 263K, if it is original, could be on the breaking points.
