Everything I read seems to point to one simple fact. Unless you are driving around trying to go into a deliberate slide, if you are used to ABS and learn to pump the brakes and then you get ABS and you are not used to it, you aren't as good a driver as if you have a car without ABS. However, ABS is pretty much here to stay.
