I have a 1995 C280. Just the other day, it started to have an
odd idle where it seems to roll up and down, and the dash lights
dim and brighten as this happens. ALT light is not on. Also, at
speed, the lights still appear to dim and brighten - itš especially
annoying at night.

Does this sound like the voltage regulator - it does to me. I want to
double check my thinking before I order one.

OR, is this the Over Voltage Relay?

I believe the alternator itself is ok.
