I too agree that this is a special forum. I am a member of several forums (probably like most here), and started reading here mainly because it is a diesel forum, and secondly because it is a Benz forum. I've always wanted a diesel Benz. Maybe someday.
I enjoy the teamwork that I see here. The comraderie here is fantastic. Somtimes you guys rub eachother the wrong way, and still even then it is handled maturely. When someone asks a question, there are a BUNCH of replies, all donated with the writers best given with it. This forum is amazingly active. Even though 99.44/100% of the info on here doesn't pertain to me (obviously good Benz info, but I don't have one), I like to come here and read, just to enjoy the different personalities and how they react with one another.
There are lots of good people in the other forums too, but you guys are great. It's nice to see a group of people keeping a bunch of classy, excellent cars on the roads as long as possible, and do it enthusiastically.
