This fits with my observations of the workings of your mind.

A fairly clear case of 99% science, 1% art; or, 99% mind, 1% heart. (The numbers are, er uh, a rough estimate)

Some great scientists were known to rely on music for relaxation, perahps a clearing of the mental palate. Other arts, such as poetry, literature, or dance cannot be neatly shoveled into a category of easily defined intelligence. Doesn't mean they don't or can't have a profound effect on the quality of our lives.
