i have a 1991 300sl (built 11/90) that won't crank, starter will crank when jumped. neutral safety sw tested good, alldata says starter lockout relay k38 is behind the inst cluster up to 1/94, but not on my car? perhaps behind the center console/radio as in later models? anyone know if i even have one? i do have a factory alarm. is k38 the immobilizer relay? schematics have conflicting info. if no k38 i must have a bad ignition sw???

any ideas? info?
