battery was just load tested 2 weeks ago...it was fine...

I took the car up on the highway for 30min...70mph...didnt have anything running..no stereo..no subs...got home...turned it off...sat for bout 2minutes..tried to restart it and it woudlnt even start...the engine was just under 80C...when it was trying to crankover..the TACH was jumping up to 3000rpms and down and up and down as it was cranking.

also volt. regulator was replaced 1 year ago, as was the battery.

I am thinking that its the alternator...it did this 2 weeks ago. Nothing has changed (3rd brake lights added in rear fog light holes but that isnt going to affect this)

i think its intermittently failing. sometimes it will churn out power sometimes.
