Springs for your car, Eibach, H&R or even factory are specifically designed for their given purpose, ride comfort, performance, lowering, etc. and you should not under any circumstance cut a spring. Most springs are designed to exacting specs for ride height and performance under a given circumstance. Modifying the spring in such a way would dramatically alter its ability to do the job properly the way it was designed. Changing the physical properties of a spring will alter the spring rate and IS NOT RECOMMENDED
I can not stress this enough !!!
If you want to go a little lower you can change either the spring pads on your vehicle or even the springs to get your car stance the way you want it.
Hope this helps, Luke
