You might try contacting the lady you hit and see if she'll admit responsibility for the accident and pay to repair your car out-of-pocket. My wife has been involved is a few minor accidents in her 1992 300CE and it's a hassle dealing with insurance companies and bodyshops to negotiate a satisfactory resolution.
