I have steadily brought my 85 300D back from a Near Death experience when it had an interior electrical fire last spring. Every feature works again, every dash light, every button and the car is in heavy daily service.

The only thing is the horn stopped working last week. The last thing i did that might have affected the slip rings is my dash replacement 6 months ago.

Does anyone know what i should look for w/r to these slip rings when i remove the Steering Wheel and steering colum trim?
