My E 320 T had a similar problem and it was fixed by replacing all the rubber gaskets of the antiroll bar.

Your suspension components will look perfect, and even the components at the antiroll bar, but the rubber components on this device are very sensible to ageing and will produce unwanted sounds very easily. Change them and see if it helps.

By the way, I have vacationed twice at Rehoboth Beach recently (one and three years ago). Great place!
