I just replaced mine this afternoon. 2 hours was more like it. Both sides were equally hard to remove. For the driver side, you need to remove the AC unit to be able to remove the mount (based on another forum member's experience). You can loosen it from the top using a 16mm socket (5/8 in my case), a u-joint adapter to allow angled ratcheting, and a long socket extension. The other side required the same amount of time. For this side, it was necessary to move the alternator out of the way. I think it was a total of 4 hours... and that's with air tools.
Anyway, the car was unbelievably smooth at idle afterwards. It also lost that initial "thunk" sound when you start the engine. Very satisfying procedure. Of course, parts were ordered through the forum sponsor.
