Is the w123 Diesel market better in Northern California or Southern?

Looks like I may have to sell my parents' 1979 240D (146K miles)
which is currently in the San Diego area. They don't use it enough.

So, I need to decide whether I should drive it up to San Francisco and
sell it here.

Since I paid a premium for it, I don't want to sell it at a large loss etc.
