There's really no way you can install it wrong. There's two different connector pins that fit either on top or bottom. I even installed my old one again and the brake lights still do not come on when applying the pressure on the brake..

So this obviously is a brake problem.. What makes you think the Kragen brake scanner won't work? Is my only option to get the car towed to a mercedes shop?
