How did things turn out? have you had the noise diagnosted by a MB tech or other?

I was pulling in to my garage the other day, had the sun roof and windows open, and I turned the wheel and I heard the creking noise from a few months ago. It's loud!

Seems to me the poking of the seals and squirting of the oil is just a temperory fix.... mind you the lub the mech put in was pretty light, it came from a spray can. ( heaveyier than WD-40 is all I know for certain) I'll be looking into a way to add a heveier lub into the socket tomorrow.


Pristine 124 + creaking front end noise = unwanted stares.
