Think a 400 hp gas car, of any displacement, will get better mileage than the diesel? These Finnish paragons get the same fuel economy as stock diesels, provided the drivers keep their foot off the pedal. And when mashing the accelerator to the firewall, who gives a toot so long as there's scoot?
