Seals, absolutely. If you haven't been in there previously, now's the time to grit your teeth and pull up both the carpet and the black sound insulation to take a serious look at what you've got. My SL's floor was almost rusted through, and it had been completely undiagnosed because the undercoating hid it from beneath.
