Had a recent alternator failure while 80 miles from home - alternator was replaced, 3 month old battery OK. I now have an intermiitent starting problem - Engine cranks fine and very strongly, yet no start. Tried it the next day, started and restarted several times with no problem. Tried again to start yesterday and no start - again engine cranks strongly. Seems odd that the starting problem began after alternator replacement when there were no prior starting problems. 70,000 miles. Any ideas/ suggestions would be appreciated.
