I applied as much force as I coud but the rear post keeps on popping up thus making the front post come up? I see when it expands but it seems it didn't expand. See my other post on my search for the proper fittings. I perhaps should have kept the old grommet as you said it takes a lot of force, I used a nail punch from underneath to pot out the old one.
