May I assume that you have fuel injection, and not a carburetor, and you are pouring fuel into the intake?

This wording is confusiong. A 'carb' does not have injectors, unless it's a Throttle Body Injector system that looks like a carburetor...

It does sound like a fuel supply problem, though.

You need to check the fuel supply system. Does the fuel pump pull fuel from the tank, supply and pressurize the accumulator and injector rail, and return excess fuel to the tank?

Without this supply of fuel the injectors have nothing to inject into the air introduced by the intake valves, the spark plugs have nothing to ignite with their spark, and the exhaust valves have nothing to exhaust...
