Well, lets examine this here. If Joe and John got married, chances are that they won't reproduce. Just as with Jane and Sue. No kids means there is one less person to go to church. One less person in church, one less voice for the church. That puts the church at peril in case of an attack by another group with different religious afflilations. That is a real critical thing when a religion is new. That is my theory on why religions are against homosexuality.

As to this "fake war" you are refering to, it is interesting how people think so locally in a global world. It is interesting to see how people feel that what happens "over there", where ever that may be, has no effect on "over here". People seem to say that if only we didn't need oil, we could care less what happens there. However, I tend to look at the world as a toilet bowl and the various places as turds in the bowl. When the bowl is flushed, we all go down the same tube. The only difference being that whoever is nearest to the tube goes first but in general, we all will go down the tube. As such, it might be in our best interests to make sure the toilet isn't flushed or at least flushed at the time we choose.
