I passed the FE exam in Georgia for my EIT. I didn't think it was that hard. I should probably update the board and let them know I'm practicing in Nevada. It's been over a year. Oops.

I'm in the automotive field, so there's really no advantage to having an EIT or even PE. If I was in the construction business, it would be an entirely different story. Oh, by the way my degree is Mechanical Engineering. I'm not really into herding electrons.

Other note: the guy who used to have the cube next to me at work got his EIT in Idaho, and they gave him a nice big 8x11 certificate that he framed. I just got a letter with a little 3x5 size scrap of paper.
