Assuming your E320 has HFM, then you're better off finding a used AMG C36 M104 engine, wiring harness, and computer.

You would spend over $3K just in parts to make your engine into a AMG 3.6!

The 1995-1996 C36 is rated at 276 HP and 286 ft-lbs of torque.

It is also HFM, so it will work with minimum fuss. HOWEVER, you will need to figure out A/C and cruise.
