Are we talking Starmark here? Most extended warranties transfer only in direct consumer-to-consumer sales. If the vehicle goes through a dealers' hands, the warranty is cancelled. This is definately true of Starmark, and was also true of an aftermarket warranty on a previous car of mine. I think it's almost universal.
