Hey thanks everyone, I'm so excited, Yes the fuel pump relay is green. This is the answer I've been looking for. The reason I want to change it is because my for died from this problem before and having a spare one will keep you from calling AAA road side service for those out here in California. My BMW 733I had the same problem, left me helpless, cost me $300 towing back to my home; All becuase of a $23 fuse. piece of crap BMW. another time 300E die on the road, waited 2 hours for towing. Now, E420 died but restarted later. I just want to have one ready and in hand so when the time comes to replace one, I'll beready for it and won't be left on the road waiting.
