With the lower pressures of the 1.6 gal flushes, gravity is a big factor for the unpressurized tanks. The upstairs toilets do just fine, while the one downstairs unit has required some "assistance" at times...via a plunger.

If your household has an "Al Bundy", you definitely need to get the pressurized ones (like the brand "Toto"). Sounds like a jet taking off when it flushes...not convenient if folks in your house are middle-of-the-night users...
