I have no reverse when the car is really cold like -25c (77 F) outdoors temp engage well when car is warmed up but it can start to not engage if you change between D R some quick times like you are stuck in snow and have to shift between D R. This most likely means to take the transmission apart becuse the 5 speed transmission on a E320 1994 not like the old ones on them you could adjust the brake band but not at this one I dont now if the car got the 722,369 or722,503 transmission I hope someone got experience on this problem.
