Maybe they'll do like Volkswagen.
Use a supercharger AND a turbocharger on the SAME engine ( in tandem ).
Far as I can tell, the S/C is mounted so low on my car, I can't see how it could raise the centre of gravity.
To answer the original question, I'm not aware of any " typical " problems with the S/c, and certainly no more potential problems than with a turbo.
