I had a simular problem with my 92 300d.At start up,the drivers window would go down automatically and not go back up until I had gone over a few more bumps-then go down again,and the sunroof would work some of the time.Checked everyhing out cleaned switches,etc.,and found the controller under the rear seat on the drivers side was bad.Replaced with a $100 used unit ,which may be pricey as I am new to these cars,but it did the trick.
