Seriously, given the lyrical content, it probably was not the best choice in music for young students to perform to. A pretty stupid lapse in judgement by the coach, as you already pointed out....

Truth is...a WHOLE LOT of African-Americans "fill in the blank" upon hearing the edited version...and giggle amongst themselves. We also know that de white folk do the same...
...so we all chuckle amongst ourselves when in our respective racial huddles, but scream "outrage" when it goes public...
...but I agree...it was inappropriate for a school function.
