Yeah but Bilstein itself is nasty on the warranty. I had a car with pair of their "lifetime warranty" shocks but couldnt find a bilstein source that would honor it. Even tried contacting Bilstein North American importer without success.

Meanwhile Autozone has gotta have better warranty service than Bilstein does. I tried them too, but they turned me away only because my shocks werent bought there. Otherwise they told me it would be an immediate exchange.

All hat and no cattle..... thats my impression of the Bilstein "lifetime" warranty after haggling with em and getting nowhere. Plus Bilstein HATES people installing their own shocks. Local indie MB mechanic laughed when I asked if they would honor their warranty through him.
