It's not a matter of CFM. I drove a 17.5 ltr 38 tonner IVECO all over Europe with an electric clutch on the rad' fan. It never came on unless pulling a load through the mountains. ( Had a switch on the dash to over-ride the automatic feature..ie: to keep it on all the time.)
The point is...you only need a fan when at low speed or stopped, and then the engine is making little power so the fan can be quite small and do the job of cooling. Any speed above 20 miles an hour will create enough draft to cool the motor.
Your origonal fan will be quite adequate.
I now have a 40 ft motor home with a 460ci Ford V8 motor that has only the electric fans (Pusher and a puller.) ..doesn't overheat and that was in 106 F temp's last year.
