Well it will work if you dont go with too wide a tire, like a 205 or maybe a 215, but if you go wider you will have rubbing problems. These springs are for the self leveling(hydro), so they will work with what you have. As far as how much it lowers it, the front tires have no wheel well gap, almost tucked, and the rear tires are about the same, but you can adjust it a little via the rear suspension. The ride isnt that much different from stock, mine actually got a little better. It looks really low but I didnt scrape anything that you would encounter in normal driving. I would upgrade the front shocks to the bilstien sport shocks, which I also have for sale. As far as the distance thing thats what ups is for Hope this helps.
