What? Are you kidding me? Remote start? Remote window operation? Starter disable? A horn that you can't cut the wires to? I don't know much about the 500SEL alarm, but I know that they are some of the most stolen cars in America! I am going to load mine with thousands of dollars of stereo equipment and I want to make sure that it is safe, no matter what. I would never trust a factory system.

And aftermarket systems are cool. Especially the Clifford Avantguard 4, which you can plug a laptop into and program it right from there with free software.
