I've been rearended (under 20mph so no damage to my car....the infiniti that hit me needed a new plastic front and bumper....  ) I was also sideswiped by a nut job/drunk/druggie, one of those, it was a hit and run. Due to these I also have the "look behind me as people slow down" paranoia, and I pay extra attention to everything happening in general, it pays off, I've probably avoided 4-5 near collisions from lunatics out there who don't know how to drive.
