UPDATE: After driving a couple of days, right back to same problems. Delayed upshift and periodic slipping. Held upshift for two miles the other day. I can manually drop down out of "D" and it will shift out of first. Makes me think it has something to do with the pressure. Called MB dealer back. They admitted they didn't check diagnostics, just said from the drivability issues they'd recommend a new transmission. Called another MB dealer in Dublin, OH, and they said if one MB dealer recommended a tranny, they probably would too. Said they doubted if the codes would reveal much. Not much help from the MB guys so far. Took it to another independent. They are doing a lot of research as they haven't had too many 722.6 units in. They are a full service shop, and seem to know what they are doing. Right now they are looking at the spring M.B. Doc mentioned, and I think they said the valve module (might not have that right). They did drive it today, and the "speed sensor" was reading zero at 30mph and then went to 4000. I guess I now have the fastest vehicle on the planet. Any other thoughts on what the indie might check, let me know.
