To start with the DEALER should read the SHIFT adaptation tables from the trans computer! IF they are below the MAX allowable "slippage" points then you most likely need a "conductor" plate..

That part is the printed-circuit inside the valve body that has the shift solenoids bolted-on & SPEED sensors built-in. We replace 10-15 of those plates every month...
