Has anyone ever used an electronic turn signal flasher, like the 10 dollar ones at AutoZone in your MB? I know you would have to cobble-up the connections spade to pin type. Any reason why this would not work?

Reason...30 bucks vs. 10 bucks...Yes, I am so tight I squeak when I walk, which is OK, because walking wears out good shoe leather!
