1991 560 sel just had valve guides etc done , timiing chain, etc done at 250K
now when I first start her up here in cold climate it knocks like their is no oil for a few seconds..then quiets down and is ok till next morning. Also, as it sits at idle I noticed a slight whining sound and upon investigation sounds like it may be coming from the power steering pump. This sounds comes and goes so when I take in to my mechanic of course the sound is gone.
