Unhappy

Since the tranny requires a steady and sufficient vacuum to operate correctrly, the issue with the door locks and the cc (which draw vacuum off the same master supply) may hint that the whole vacuum system is currently not able to manage the needs of the various components. A big leak somewhere means that everything is starving. Need to find the leak. Isn't it sucky that everything goes sour when a two-bit piece of plastic tubing breaks. What genious thought to make everything including the cruise dependant on the total integrity of the whole tubing system--especially when they go everywhere and mostly inacessible? Now that I've got my laziness tamed and committed to dive into the mess, I can't get the center console apart to get to the CC stuff (80 CD) I took the seats out, side panels off radio out, wood panels off---and still can't find the fasteners to remove or the tricks to get to the plumbing.
Go figure.
