I have a bad transmission RT-722.414 in a 1987D 2.5 non turbo. I would like to know if I could put in a RT-722.400 from a 1984 190E? I can change the Vacuum mod's and cable's....any ideas if it would work?
Another possibilty is I can get a stick shift tranny from a gas 2.3...will it work with the 190D 2.5 non T?? I would have the donor gas car to get all of the standard shift components....Thanks Ves
