The emissions label on an '01 CLK430 I bought is mangled:


It's just a cosmetic issue but two Mercedes dealers said they couldn't order it and one said to call the zone office. I tried calling the 800 number to find a zone office and they said Mercedes doesn't sell replacement emissions labels but if I wanted to I could get a letter stating the car meets emissions requirements. No thanks. Any other way to get the label? I could get a whole lid with the stickers attached from a wrecked car but '01 CLK430's are nearly impossible to find in a junk yard.
