I took some thick sandpaper, and slid it down the side of the passenger front door. Then after a minute of giggling, I was able to wrap it around the knob and voila the rough side of the sandpaper held on around the knob as I popped it up.

Luckily I never bought the Euro style knobs or this would have never worked.
