Hi, I own a 2002 E-240 MB, yesterday the electronic key did not start the car and the second key went dead long time back, though both are remote locking and unlocking the doors without any problems. I went to the dealer to see what can be done. They said i have to place an order for additional key which will take approximately a week, which i did.
Now i have opened the inside of the remote electronic key and both of them showed an electronic componet looks like a small coil near to the infrared device, this electronic part found broken in both the keys.
A question now is there any way ordering only these electronic components so i can have two spare keys after receiving the ordered one? Where can i find these parts?
