I'm getting ready to paint and I've got everything off except the aluminum trim around the windows. I'm not talking about the lower piece at the rain seal, nor the rain gutters, but the two polished aluminum pieces that surround each side window frame, exterior to the window channels and also at the top. It appears to be a "pinch" fit to the sheet metal but is there adhesive under there? It won't budge with the plastic wedge or dull putty knife technique (well, maybe a fraction) and I don't want to bugger it up.
