When shifting into 4th gear at expressway speeds, my 87 300d exhibits just a slight wiggle coming from the rear not large enough to require a steering correction but noticeable. This is not felt when shifting into lower gears. I have replaced a lot of suspension components in the front but so far nothing in the rear. In the past, I have been told that the differental mounts were installed in the wrong position. Could this be the problem?
